I'm curious where Pokémon Colosseum would rank on the list at the end. With animations taking forever, I imagine that would eat into the time, but you can catch Entei from the game's second major boss. (XD would probably be dead last since you gotta go to the very end of the game for your first, I think.) Seems strange to not count the GameCube titles for these runs when Legends Arceus seems to bare less resemblance to the battle system of other main games. Do you not have access to them?

I would love to have a region having an earlier snowy area. Ice types are always so late game but i feel like it would be interesting to have them be available in early game, which could give way to more early evolving ice types as well

Consumed the video through audio only but heard the Neoseeker mentions. A few members in that thread I vaguely remember being in contact with back in the day. It's unfortunate that it was a guest account that provided the codes. Those old game forums had a culture of secret searching / sleuthing and Neoseeker due to "just being big enough" was especially focused in that regard. The unfortunate part about this is that the codes posted are most likely from a secondary source. I'd hazard a guess the info is still out there but it's probably trapped in the depths of something on the scale of the Gaia Online forums. So it's available in the sense that something that has sunk to the bottom of the ocean could still be found. Still, good investigative work!

Great vid! Just wanted to share that I actually got Wo Chien before even meeting the ride Pokémon for the first time awhile back. This was before the encounter warps were nerfed to not allow you to throw through walls, but it in NO way was it fast. It took a lot of waiting for flying types to move to just the right spot to get up the waterfall and highest mountain 😅

I love the video idea, but I thought it would be about how fast you could catch one based on your current progression (how make badges, or battles, or caught pokemon essentially). I think the speed run timing is interesting too, but I think I'd have preferred the other style personally. I just think taking the time to route things like the masterball, repels, and the legendary's move set counters is a bit unnecessary

how is gen 4 the record holder for legendaries? gen 7 has almost twice that number!

70 legendaries. thats like 1 legendary for every 12 or so pokemon. and thats not even counting pseudo legendaries (or mythics?). how is a pokemon LEGENDARY when there are so many of them?
